Today’s piece is of Edea from Bravely Default as a Red Mage (I swear this wasn’t made to also celebrate BD’s 5th birthday, I made this not knowing!) Not hugely happy how this came out due to the drawing looking more lively than the final piece but I still had fun making this!
Today’s illustration is a special one, celebrating a favorite and special video game close to my heart: Bravely Default! I drew one of the protagonist’s holding a cake to celebrate! I think this may be my last contribution to Inktober since I am running out of ideas. The main reason is having no time to focus on my main work and stressing all day about coming up with drawing ideas for Inktober.
The illustration is of Ringabel from Bravely Default performing the song “My Hero” that gives his buddies an extra turn in battle. This idea started off as a sketch based of body-kun, a mannequin figure that allows for more poses than a regular wooden one. I thought it would make for a neat pose for the performer class in Bravely Default, so I drew my favorite character doing just that!
This is Edea and Ringabel from the video game series Bravely Default dressed up in 50’s style clothing. Nothing really special about this idea, just sounded fun to make to be honest!
This idea came about of simply just what if Edea (from Bravely Default) and Olivia (Fire Emblem Awakening) swapped costumes (the spellfencer job class in Bravely Default and the Dancer class in Fire Emblem Awakening to be exact)! I’m pretty pleased with how this came out! I was struggling to come up with how to illustrate the eyes but I played around with shapes in Illustrator until I got something I really liked. This is also the first piece I made making my own colour palette.
This week’s image is kind of Halloween themed and it is Edea from Bravely Default in her Vampire job class costume! I had fun making this and played around with different brushes in Photoshop.
